FAQs our Bike Fits
Which Bike Fit should I book in for?
If you're looking to get comfortable, efficient, and pain-free on the bike — and you're not dealing with any complex injuries or performance goals
At Ciclo, our Standard Bike Fit is designed for riders who:
Want a solid, professional setup without the deep dive
Are commuting, riding socially, or just getting back into cycling
Don’t have current injuries or complex biomechanical issues
Are short on time but want things done properly
We’ll take you through the key contact points — saddle, cleats, bars — to make sure your position feels great and your power transfers smoothly. It’s practical, efficient, and gets you riding better straight away.
If you’ve had recurring pain, past injuries, or just want to get the absolute most out of your riding — our Tailored Bike Fit is designed for you.
Unlike the Standard Fit, which focuses on the bike, the Tailored Fit starts with your body. We begin in the treatment room with a full physiotherapy assessment and then incorporate those findings into the fit process to ensure your position on the bike supports your movement.
The Tailored Fit includes everything in our Standard Fit, but goes far beyond — giving you a setup that supports your body, your goals, and your future on the bike. You’ll also receive a comprehensive follow-up report, outlining our findings and recommendations.
Perfect for:
Riders with previous or ongoing injuries
Those chasing performance or long-term gains
Cyclists dealing with recurring discomfort
Anyone serious about longevity and efficiency on the bike
Can I Claim a Bike Fit on Private Health Insurance?
Yes Both the Standard and Tailored Bike Fits, because they are fit by a qualified and registered Physiotherapist are claimable under private health for Physiotherapy under code 505.
Can I bring in two bikes for a fit at the same time?
We completely understand wanting both bikes set up correctly — but during your session, we focus on fitting you first, then adapting the bike to your body. Each fit is detailed and time-intensive, especially during a Tailored Bike Fit, where we dive deep into your biomechanics and make precise adjustments.
Fitting two bikes in a single session would compromise the quality and detail we’re known for — and we don’t want to rush that process.
If you’d like both bikes fitted, we recommend booking a second session where we can ensure the same level of care and precision for your second bike.
